My inbox has been flooded with emails asking how I get subscribers and build my email list. Here is the secret sauce… “Sumo”. I am sure you have seen it all over my site and there is a reason for that. Ever since I started using Sumo my subscriber base has jumped 112%!
So where is it on my page?
This is a fantastic app to use on your site to start collecting leads or opt-ins. The best news of all its free!
Now, of course, they do have a paid version that gives you more options but if the budget is tight you can save a few pennies here.
Here is what the price looks like…
Let’s take a dive into what the back end looks like…
Here is the dashboard that allows you access to all that Sumo has to offer. I will go through each one and talk about how it is used and why you should use it.
On this page, you will get notifications, app purchases, and access to apps already bought.
If you click on “My Apps” it takes you to the page that allows you to build everything.
There are multiple things that you can see on this page. You can see the ones that I have built, the last edit date and then the conversion rate.
In the upper right-hand corner, you can see “Create New Form”
They make it so simple to create your first opt-in…
(I do plan to do a later post to go into detail but just to show you how easy it is…here is a taste of what it looks like)
Step 2 – Choosing a Form Type
Step 3 – Designing and Customizing your Form
Almost every part of the popup can be customized.
This is what I do every time to create a lead opt-in and collect new email subscribers! Best part it takes zero coding skills.
Once you have everything created Sumo does a great job in collecting stats to show you what works and what is not working.
Overall this plugin has changed my site and actually made it profitable. I do not know where I would be without it and would recommend it to anyone that is just getting started!
I have placed some links below to give you more samples and ideas on what can all happen with Sumo…
